AORTIC WORKSHOP & WET LAB COURSE 2026 A full day of advanced learning, hands-on practice, and expert-led discussions at the AORTIC Workshop and Wet Lab Course, held on 23 January 2026 at the National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute. The workshop brought together distinguished faculty members and dedicated participants for in-depth demonstrations and wet lab sessions focusing on: ✔️ Aortic root exposure & mobilisation ✔️ Composite aortic root replacement ✔️ Root enlargement techniques ✔️ Identifying anatomical variations & surgical pitfalls With interactive sessions, live faculty demonstrations, and team-based hands-on practice on tissue models, the course created an enriching learning environment for consultants and senior residents. We sincerely thank our Chief Guest - Prof Suman Nazmul Hosain, Special Guests, Chairpersons, Faculty, Course Directors, Coordinators, and all participants for making this academic initiative impactful and memorable.

With esteemed speakers, interactive discussions, and hands-on group work, the workshop highlighted the importance of integrating evidence into clinical decision-making. “ABCDE of Emergency Care Course” at Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Medical College Hospital

Planetary Health Academia successfully conducted the “ABCDE of Emergency Care Course” at Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Medical College Hospital, marking the final phase of the nationwide training series. This two-day program was facilitated by an incredible team of four instructors — Dr. Raiiq Ridwan, Dr. Mostaque Chowdhury, Dr. A. Z. M. Ahsanullah, and Dr. Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman — who provided comprehensive and practical sessions on the five essential steps of emergency management: Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, and Exposure (ABCDE). A total of 43 participants took part in the course with great enthusiasm and active engagement. The instructors appreciated the energy and participation of the attendees, making this session one of the most interactive and enjoyable experiences of the series. Planetary Health Academia extends heartfelt thanks to the Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Medical College authority for their cooperation and hospitality.

“ABCDE of Emergency Care Course” at TMSS Medical College Date: 21st–22nd October 2025 Organized by: Planetary Health Academia Scientific Partner: Unimed Unihealth Pharmaceuticals Planetary Health Academia successfully conducted the “ABCDE of Emergency Care Course” at TMSS Medical College as part of its nationwide initiative to strengthen emergency care skills among healthcare professionals. Under the guidance of our esteemed instructors, participants received hands-on training on the five-step emergency management system — Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, and Exposure (ABCDE). Two separate groups participated in the course, each showing remarkable enthusiasm and dedication throughout the sessions. We are truly grateful to the TMSS Medical College authority for their excellent cooperation and to all participants for making this program a success.
