DR. TASBIRUL ISLAM

Tasbirul Islam graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1992. He passed the examinations and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of UK in 1997. Tasbirul is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Neuro-critical Care Medicine. He was the best resident for consecutive three years and was recipient of the Golden Apple/ Stethoscope award for excellence in teaching at the Drexel University College of Medicine. He was voted the best teaching attending by the residents and medical students in 2010 and 2022. 

He is well published in peer-reviewed journals. He is the founding chairman of PHA. Currently, he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Science and Indiana University School of Medicine.

It was 20th July, 2020, when we, as non-resident Bangladeshi physicians with a hope to put our baby steps into the interprofessional collaborative practice and started a partnership between different healthcare and medical educational bodies in Bangladesh. I truly believe and wish that we can continue to grow and cherish what we have at present with help from all of you. I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this journey, my mentors, my colleagues, my team, last but never the least, my trustees. Looking forward to achieving many more milestones in the near future.
